The Old Church Centre is a unique home for Heritage, Arts and Community in the lovely village of Cushendun, nestled in the Glens of Antrim, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
It is not just a shared space, but also a shared experience, with a busy year-round programme of events, classes and workshops for the local community and visitors alike, aiming to promote the unique heritage and culture of the Glens.
As well as a base for heritage and culture, the Old Church Centre helps tackle problems of rural poverty and isolation by providing a place for people to meet; to celebrate weddings, birthdays, and anniversaries; to enjoy the experience of theatre, music, art and literature with family and friends.
Events such as the Big Arts Weekend and Culture Month bring a variety of acts and speakers to Cushendun.
We are grateful to the individuals, trusts and other organisations who support us. However, for the Centre to remain open and active, we need an independent, regular, sustainable and predictable core of support.
The future of the Old Church Centre relies on people like you!

How you can support us
Donate
You can give a one-off donation or set up a regular payment via our website.
Donations can be made online via Localgiving, or by Direct Debit.
Become a member
Monthly donations enable us to plan ahead.
When you donate £3 (or more) per month you will become a Member of Cushendun Building Preservation Trust, the charity which operates the Old Church Centre.
This means you will be invited to attend the Annual General Meeting and to decide on the composition of the Board, if you wish to do so.
There will also be two social events during the year to recognise the support of members and to express our appreciation for this support.
