UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO ILLNESS, WE HAVE HAD TO CANCEL THIS EVENT. APOLOGIES FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.

Do you have a son/daughter/granchild/niece/nephew/neighbour who is in primary school who enjoys telling tall tales? Well look no further to channel that energy!

The Old Church Centre is currently running a short story competition for kids, to keep their minds active during the summer holidays. We want to hear fascinating stories, interesting tales and creative ideas for our competition. But that isn’t always so easy! So we are delighted to have Liz Weir – renowned Irish Storyteller hosting a free creative writing workshop for the kids.

The workshop will take place this Wednesday (3 August) between 1000-1130am in the Old Church Centre.  It will be open to P1-P7s – but places are limited to 12 kids.

Perfect companion to get the creative juices flowing for our short story competition which runs until 31 August.

Free to attend but please register in advance here: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/cushendunbpt/t-dvvkrpj
