Once again, the Old Church Centre is participating in European Heritage Open Days, Northern Ireland’s largest celebration of built, cultural and natural heritage, offering free access to hundreds of events, historic sites and unique experiences across the region.

The Old Church Centre will be open from 12–4 pm on both days. It is exactly twenty years since the Cushendun Building Preservation Trust were voted regional winners of the BBC programme Restoration Village for their project to restore the deconsecrated Church of Ireland church.

There will be a short presentation celebrating the journey from probable dereliction to thriving community hub at 12.30 pm on both days.
