Amanda St John is a local girl from Glenariffe who is renowned as one of Northern Ireland’s leading singer-songwriters; she often gets compared to Dusty Springfield and Aretha Franklin for her powerful vocal style and soulful sound. She has released 2 studio albums to critical acclaim, has had worldwide press/radio play (including BBC Radio 6 & RTÉ Radio 1’s ‘Album of the Week’) and has toured the UK, Ireland and USA , including a performance for the American President & the Irish Taoiseach. We are delighted to welcome Amanda and her guitarist to the festival this year for an acoustic night of soul classics, so if you are a fan of Motown and Soul music this will be a fabulous night.
