Two of Northern Ireland’s finest songwriting talents share a special evening of music and stories in the beautiful surroundings of the Old Church in Cushendun. Anthony Toner is famed for his much-requested songs ‘Sailortown’, ‘The Road to Fivemiletown’ and others, and is acclaimed for his insightful lyrics, fine acoustic fingerstyle playing, and wonderful stories between songs. His special guest for this unique evening is one of his oldest musical companions, Eilidh Patterson. Eilidh is likewise revered for her warm and beautifully crafted songs (‘Precious Cargo’, ‘Safe Place’ and many others), superb fingerstyle playing, and wonderful voice. These friends will each play a selection of songs, alone and together, and will share some insights from their lives in music and on the road. Doors open at 7.15pm.
